Diamond earrings borrowed from the Queen! 😍
💎 The Duchess has worn this gorgeous pair of diamond drop earrings for a number of official engagements including with her beautiful pink Alexander McQueen dress for Trooping the Colour this year (oh I just love this dress💞💞💞). The pair feature a cluster stud with a floral motif from which a pendant of four graduating diamonds is suspended. The pendant is surrounded by a diamond frame. It’s noted that the earrings have only begun to be worn by the Queen in public in the last few years, which suggests they may be a newer pair rather than royal heirlooms. Here the Queen wears the earrings during the State Opening of Parliament in May 2012. Swipe ⬅️ for photographs.
💎 The Duchess first wore the Queen’s diamond chandelier earrings during the Cambridges' 2011 visit to Los Angeles 🇺🇸 The earrings feature delicate diamonds in a chandelier design surrounding a large pear-shaped diamond. The Duchess has subsequently worn these earrings on several occasions including on an official visit to Paris 🇫🇷 in March. Which pair do you prefer? They are both stunning but I personally love the diamond drop earrings. They are so beautiful for both day and evening looks, especially with a tiara 👸🏻✨ 📸 Getty #duchessofcambridge #queen #earrings #diamonds #alexandermcqueen #losangeles #paris #london #troopingthecolour #alexandermcqueen
