Ever felt shitty for no reason? What do you think about to get through it? 💩✨ Well that's how I've felt for the past week (almost 2 weeks). It isn't exactly for no reason, I've been dealing with some stuff and I got a lot on my mind.
But I couldn't really bring myself to do anything useful except networking. I have a small injury, I'm sick, I'm in the middle of nowhere in Egypt, I'm not going home to my family for the holidays, and I got a bunch of things I have to plan for 2018! So, I could sit in this position and complain and focus on all the bad things forever. ✨
OR, I can focus on the positive things in my life to jump-start my energy and get moving again! ✨
I have a wonderful partner who I'll be spending the holidays with, my family is healthy (at least that's what they tell me), I am actively pursuing my passions, I'm going to see the pyramids next week, and I've connected with many wonderful people recently in person and through social media! ✨
No matter what you're going through, big or small, it's important you focus on positive things. It's okay to feel sad sometimes, but don't stay stuck there. Whatever problems get thrown your way in life, you have the capability to overcome them. ✨
And if you see someone feeling down, try to cheer them up! I can't even imagine if I was alone here in Cairo, it would be twice as difficult to get back on my feet. ✨
