India definitely left an incredible impression on me, and the experience was something I’d definitely like to repeat in future.
From the food and friendliness to the chaotic, but entertaining, traffic and colour everywhere, from smiles and happy faces and kids in the slums playing badminton, to trying to balance a spinning top on my hand, and seeing some very scenic sunsets, it was a joy to experience.
So I just wanted to leave you with some more of my favourite shots.
I hope you enjoyed the series, and I’ll get back to a new wave of posts next week.

One of the things that really intrigued me about India, was the way that people just went about their daily lives.

One area in particular, was a place called Dhobi Ghat, which is one of the world’s largest outdoor laundry facilities.
In reality, it’s probably one of the most crowded living-working areas we saw, where people live in the tiniest rooms and cubicles, and also do the laundry outside. The laundry area has some machines, but also has rows and rows of concrete ‘cubicles’ where people wash, scrub and beat (literally) the laundry on a stone.
And wherever free space is found, there a line is strung for laundry to dry from.
Some of the rooms here could barely fit a bed, and this area was a community that hosted dozens and dozens of families.
From street sweepers, to random goats in the road, to people living near rubbish tips and small, crowded alleyways where they also have shops, to street sweepers and cold drink sellers, people seem to find a way to get on with life, no matter the circumstances. Around every corner is something remarkably entrepreneurial happening.
And everywhere we went, no matter the challenges people faced, smiles were easy to come by and friendliness was in rich supply.
This really left an overwhelming impact on me.
